For the second year in a row, Grayslake North opened its season with a win over Woodstock North. The Knights received 2 touchdown runs apiece from Kurtis Boyd and David Collins. Collins rushed 25 times for 153 yards, and Boyd gained 100 yards on just 5 carries. Boyd also had an interception.
