St. Edward remains unbeaten in SCC Gold

On Senior Night, St. Edward found plenty of senior leadership in its 49-14 victory over Guerin Prep.

Senior quarterback Ben Lehman passed for 3 touchdowns and ran for another as the Green Wave (5-1, 3-0) remained unbeaten in the Surburban Christian Conference Gold Division. Lehman finished the game with 185 passing yards and hooked up with seniors Sam Pozezinski (48 yards) and Mark Olenek (33 yards) on touchdown passes in the first half.

Olenek converted all 7 extra point attempts to improve to 28 of 28 on the year in the win. Senior Jon Keokanlaya punished the Gators' defense for 101 yards on 12 carries and added a pair of touchdowns. The senior ruinning back scored on runs of 8 and 2 yards to help St. Edward to a 35-7 halftime lead.
