Katie Urchell’s 11 kills and 13 digs powered host Providence (19-5, 3-0) to a 26-28, 25-23, 25-23 East Suburban Catholic Conference win, snapping No. 2 Benet’s 11-match winning streak.

Benet last lost on Aug. 31 to York and had won 21 straight sets coming into Thursday’s match.

York d. Hinsdale South:The top-ranked Dukes (21-2) dropped No. 8 Hinsdale South (16-7) 29-27, 25-20 in Darien to run their win streak to 14 straight matches.Glenbard South d. WW South:The Blackhawks reeled off a decisive 7-0 run in the third set to outlast visiting WW South 25-16, 23-25, 25-18 and keep pace atop the DVC. Glenbard North:The Wildcats bounced back from a tough loss on Tuesday at Naperville Central with a 25-17, 25-8 home win.
