Cheer on the Lake Zurich Bears

The Lake Zurich Quarterback Club invites high school football fans to join in cheering on the Lake Zurich High School Bears as they compete against Mt. Carmel High School for the Class 7A Championship title on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 4 p.m. at Northern Illinois University's Huskie Stadium in DeKalb. The team will leave Lake Zurich High School at 12:25 p.m. with a police escort, and travel on Church Street, then down Route 22 past Knox Park and south on Quentin Road out of town. Join in lining the route to cheer them on as they head to state. A parade is scheduled for noon on Sunday, Dec. 1 to celebrate the team and their season. The parade begins at Lions Park on Main Street and proceeds down Church Street to Lake Zurich High School. A Bear Rally, which is open to the public, is planned for the Field House at 1 p.m.
