Larkin to honor ESHOF inductees
Larkin High School will hold an Elgin Sports Hall of Fame Alumni Night Friday when the Royals host crosstown rival Elgin in Upstate Eight Conference football action at Memorial Field.
The following ESHOF inductees from Larkin are expected to attend and will be recognized on the field at halftime of the varsity game:
Coaches Ray Haley and Mary O'Brien, Corry Carter Irvin, Katy Carter Potts, Donnell Daniel, Beth Fitchie Barnes, Anton Kossakowski, Jim Kossakowski, Amy Kovacs Stewart, Julie Kovacs Fisher, Ryan McKenna, Raul Rodriguez, Blaine Royer, Ryan Sienko, Roger Smithberg and Al Lettow, who will be represented by his son and daughter.
The Larkin athletic department will then hold a reception after the game at the Walnut Speakeasy.
