Buffalo Grove, Conanat square off for tough game

Outlook: Both teams came into this season with high hopes, and both teams got off to the start they needed. Trey Cervantes, one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the state, was outstanding for Buffalo Grove.
The 6-foot-4, 195 pound Cervantes was 31-off-44 for 298 yards and 4 touchdowns in his team's 45-41 victory over Niles West. Cervantes will be up against a Conant secondary led by D-1 prospect Palmer Graham, who led a defense that forced 4 turnovers.
Graham also showed his skills on offense, with a 96-yard touchdown reception. Conant was also tough on the ground, gaining 151 yards, with 89 of it coming from Jake Jakubosky.
