St. Viator looking for first win at Marist since 2006

St. Viator (1-1) at Marist (1-1)

When: Friday, 7:30 p.m.

Last year: St. Viator 35, Marist 28

Outlook: St. Viator turned things around on both side of the ball last week in a victory over Deerfield. Viator got another strong performance from quarterback Tommy Majerus, who threw for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns. The defense was almost as good, allowing Deerfield just 4 first downs while forcing 3 fumbles. Both units will need to be at their best as they travel to Marist, where they Lions have not won since 2006. Marist was impressive in both of the Redhawks' games this season. They opened by dropping a close game to Mt. Carmel 21-14 and then blew out DuSable from the Chicago Public League 45-0 last week for their first win.
