Hersey, Hoffman Estates both looking to get offenses going

Last year: Hoffman Estates 10, Hersey 9

Outlook: Both teams are coming off tough losses last week as each team struggled to put points on the board, with each team scoring just 1 touchdown. Hersey had difficulty getting things going against a tough Barrington squad last week. The young Huskies had 220 yards of offense, but most of it came in the final quarter when the outcome was not in doubt. Still, quarterback Tommy Jackson is the area's second-leading passer with 465 yards. Hoffman Estates had just 79 yards passing against Prospect, but Chady Bitre had his second 100-yard performance in a row, gaining 114 yards and 225 for the season. Hoffman will also have to avoid penalties as the Hawks hurt themselves with 95 yards worth last week.
