Tuesday Morning Quarterback

Name: Dominick Wroblewski

School: Glenbard East Year: Senior

Best thing about being an offensive lineman: Making a huge hole for the halfback to run through for a touchdown.

Worst thing about being an offensive lineman: I'd say not getting enough recognition, but I like to get my recognition from the guys I block for, so it doesn't matter.

Don't tell my coach that: I should be the quarterback because my “hog ball” skills are excellent. It's like a lineman's 7-on-7.

If I could change one thing about football: I would make it safer on the knees. One of my friends (Mike Ruffin) this year tore an ACL and I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

Team not on our schedule I wish we could play: Definitely Montini. It's a cross-town game and a lot of our guys know them. I'd like to battle with them, finally, see who's better.

How I'll celebrate if I score a TD: Oh! I've been dreaming about something like this. Put the “Hit the Quan Dance” in there.

Twitter, Facebook or Instagram: Definitely Twitter. It's best for coaches to let the team know about upcoming stuff. There's nothing you have to do too much on it.

What I like best about my school: Our student section, nicknamed the Money Team.

Something about me that would surprise you: I speak 100 percent Polish and I live in a Polish home with a lot of Polish folks.

Other sports I play: I used to play basketball and I used to wrestle but I stopped as a sophomore. And I've thrown shot put and discus all three years and I plan on doing it again in the spring.

Favorite actor: Will Smith. Every movie he's in is basically hilarious.

Favorite actress: I don't know.

Favorite athlete: Michael Oher, from “The Blind Side.” I wear his number (74) for that reason. I look up to him because of the way he turned his life around and he took advantage of the opportunity that was given to him.

Favorite musician: That's another tough one. Let me go on my most-listened-to on my music ... I would say Zac Brown, actually.

The quote

“This team could be a special team because of the speed. You can see it. We are a fast football team. There aren't too many teams that are going to be able to match up.”

— Montini coach Chris Andriano after Friday's 38-7 win over St. Rita

The stat

St. Francis quarterback Peter Fassnacht completed his first 20 passes against Marmion on Friday. That string, which ended in the third quarter, included 3 touchdown passes and 195 yards. Fassnacht finished 23-of-26 passing for 248 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 53-7 Chicago Catholic League Green victory.
