Addison Trail, Lisle, Waubonsie Valley and Wheaton North all enter Week 9 with 4-4 records with hopes of winning the regular-season finale and becoming playoff eligible.

By notching their sixth win on Friday, Glenbard North, Glenbard West and Willowbrook each clinched playoff berths. Glenbard South and Montini can clinch a berth with a Week 9 victory.

3. King takeaway

Naperville North defensive back Grant Ericksen snared 2 interceptions, including one on his team's 5-yard line that sealed a 17-14 win over Waubonsie Valley. It's Ericksen's third game with multiple picks.

4. Rise of the Knights

IC Catholic Prep clinched a share of the Metro Suburban Conference Blue title and will play for its first perfect regular-season finish in school history next week.
