Daily Herald report

St. Francis (1-7, 0-3) at Montini (5-3, 2-1)Game time: 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The quick hit: St. Francis' Gabe Meyer has been a reliable blocker for wingback Sam Sidari and now Nolan Pechan. For Montini the pressure is off after beating Mt. Carmel. Receiver-safety Mitch West came up big. Not yet 100 percent, QB Brad Norgle did return.

St. Rita (4-4) at Marmion (6-2)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday at Fichtel Field

Quick hit: Marmion enters this Chicago Catholic League crossover following consecutive wins over St. Laurence (6-2) and DeLaSalle (5-3). The Cadets received 7 votes in this week's Asscociated Press Class 6A poll, 2 shy of No. 10 Rockford Boylan. A St. Rita loss would keep the Mustangs out of the playoffs in back-to-back years for the first time since 1998-99.

Aurora Christian (2-6) at St. Joseph (6-2)

When: 7 p.m. Friday

Quick hit: Aurora Christian finishes the season against the sixth playoff team on its 9-game schedule. The Chargers' only 2 losses came against Brother Rice (8-0) and St. Ignatius (6-2).
