Libertyville bows out at Bradley-Bourbonnais

The last time Libertyville traveled to Bradley-Bourbonnais, they endured a blizzard and eventually pulled out a dramatic win on Riley Lees' 1-yard sneak on the final play of last November's Class 7A state semifinal.

The result wasn't the same this year for the visitors, who drew the No. 32 seed in Class 7A. Libertyville fell 42-17 on Friday.

Libertyville finishes the season with a 5-5 record.

Top-seeded Bradley-Bourbonnais (10-0) advances to the second round and will play the winner of Saturday's 1 p.m. game between No. 17 Highland Park (7-2) and No. 16 Plainfield North (7-2).
