Leyden awaits postseason news
Leyden's football won its game Friday, and now plays the waiting game Saturday.
The Eagles wrapped up the regular season with a 14-7 victory at Morton in West Suburban Gold play.
That gives Leyden a 5-4 overall record (4-2 in the Gold).
The Eagles hope they've amassed enough playoff points to earn a spot in the postseason for a second consecutive year, which would be a first for the program.
Morton fell to 1-8 and 1-5.
