Maine West rolls past Glenbrook North

Senior Jake Bellizzi scored 4 touchdowns Friday night as Maine West rolled over Glenbrook North 46-13 in the Warriors' Central Suburban North opener.

Bellizzi, who rushed 31 times for 225 yards, scored on runs of 7, 8, 9 and 40 yards.

Maine West (4-1, 1-0) led just 20-13 at halftime but then opened the game up with a 26-point third quarter.

Junior quarterback Danny Kentgen, who was 10 of 21 for 162 yards, threw for 3 touchdowns on the night, all to senior Ely Grimmer.

Grimmer caught TD passes of 9, 41 and 16 yards as the Warriors outgained their opponent 423 yards to 248 in total offense.

Maine West will play at winless Maine East next week.
