North Shore Country Day edges Christian Liberty

Call it progress made, but the first victory of the season was still a near-miss.

Christian Liberty Academy’s football team came up short against host North Shore Country Day on Saturday, falling 16-12 in Northeastern Athletic Conference play.

It was by far the most competitive game of the season for the Chargers (0-4), who scored their first points this fall.

North Shore Country Day improved to 1-3.
