Grant 33, Stagg 0: The visiting Bulldogs improved to 2-0 with the nonconference victory.

Lakes 28, Highland Park 0: The host Eagles earned their first win of the season, while handing the Giants their first loss.


Deerfield 28, Grayslake North 6: The visiting Warriors improved to 2-0, while dropping the Knights to 1-1.

Round Lake 16, Maine East 13: The visiting Panthers got their first win under first-year coach Scott Blecha.

Riverside-Brookfield 26, Wauconda 21: In a battle of Bulldogs, Riverside-Brookfield improved to 2-0, while dropping Wauconda to 0-2.

Warren 26, Glenbard North 6: The host Blue Devils improved to 2-0 with their second dominating defensive effort in as many weeks.
