Mundelein's Jones commits to Northwest Missouri St.

Mundelein football's program had a positive experience Monday, as senior Emanuel Jones signed a national letter of intent to play for Northwest Missouri State University, which won the NCAA Division II national championship this past season.

It was the Bearcats' fourth national title.

Jones rushed for 255 yards and 3 touchdowns in helping the Mustangs win their 2013 season opener and snap an 18-game losing streak. He is planning to be a physical therapy major with the hopes of working as a physical therapist or an athletic trainer. "I'm looking forward to playing football on a big stage on the next level and to challenge myself in the classroom as well," Jones said.
