Skinny: Lakes surrendered a pair of long touchdown passes in the second half in failing to protect a 19-17 halftime lead against Grayslake North. The Eagles face a tough running back in Highland Park's Dondi Penick, who rushed for 368 yards and 3 touchdowns against Hersey. Highland Park went 9-1 last season.
