Lakes powers past Round Lake

In their final home game of the season, the Eagles cruised to victory in the North Suburban Prairie contest.
Lakes improved to 4-2 and 4-0 in the division with its fourth win in a row. The Eagles' next three games are at Vernon Hills, North Chicago and Libertyville.
Round Lake fell to 0-6 and 0-3 in the NSC Prairie. The Panthers host North Chicago next Saturday.
Lakes' Jordan Mercure finished 11-for-17 passing for 214 yards and 4 touchdown. His long completion went for 73 yards to Colton Jewell, who finished with catches for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Cameron Ruiz rushed for 64 yards (including one for 49 yards) and 2 touchdowns for the Eagles.
